Buntin Group Leads Southeast ADDY Competition
Nashville, Tenn. (April 3, 2009) - The Buntin Group has been honored with 18 ADDY Awards and a Judge's Choice Award in the 7th District American Advertising Federation ADDY Awards competition, leading all agencies in the Southeast. This is the ninth time in 20 years the agency has led the competition at the regional level.
The Buntin Group won 6 Gold ADDYs and 12 Silver ADDYs for work on behalf of John Deere, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, TVA, Purolator, Gabriel, United Methodist Church and Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee. The agency was also recognized with a Judge's Choice Award for the "Unsilencing the Voice" awareness campaign for the United Methodist Church.
The regional ADDY competition is the second of a three-tier competition conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF) which culminates in the prestigious National ADDYs. A combined total of 189 Gold and Silver ADDYs were awarded to agencies and design firms spanning Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. The awards will be presented at the 7th District ADDY Awards event to be held April 17 in Baton Rouge, LA.
The ADDYs® are the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting over 50,000 entries every year in local ADDY competitions. The mission of the ADDY competition is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising.
