At the "7 Minutes to Reinvent the Internet" event held on May 6 in New York City, seven marketing thought leaders made presentations on the future of the internet in the world of advertising. One of the presenters was Mr. Bob Garfield, ad critic and chief essayist for Advertising Age magazine and co-host of NPR’s On the Media radio program. Garfield, an unabashed proponent of the need to evolve the traditional media model, made two points in his seven minute presentation. He began by warning of the need to agencies to quickly create and adopt a modernized media model, and then he pointed to Trialogue, an approach conceived and practiced by The Buntin Group, as the best example he has seen to date in the industry.

(April 3, 2009) - The Buntin Group has been honored with 18 ADDY Awards and a Judge's Choice Award in the 7th District American Advertising Federation ADDY Awards competition, leading all agencies in the Southeast. This is the ninth time in 20 years the agency has led the competition at the regional level.

Nashville, Tenn. (March 17, 2009) - Nashville-based marketing communications agency The Buntin Group has announced former EURO RSCG Worldwide Group Account Director, Fred Saunders as Executive Vice President, Director of Account Management and former Draftfcb Group Media Director, Theresa Chang as Senior Vice President, Director of Media Planning.
Fred Saunders joins the company's executive leadership team, assuming chief responsibility for the agency's account management services while Theresa Chang will oversee media planning efforts across all clients.

Sales for the Tennessee Education Lottery set a new record in February surpassing every other month since its inception more than five years ago. Tennessee Lottery President and CEO Rebecca Hargrove attributes the February activity primarily to "Tennessee Millionaires Club," a new instant-game introduced February 3 which has the highest prize payout percentage of any game in Tennessee Lottery history. The Buntin Group developed an extensive, multi-media campaign to launch the game state-wide, including a television campaign that premiered in the Superbowl.

Nashville, Tenn. (February 23, 2009) - The Buntin Group was honored with 70 ADDY Awards at the American Advertising Federation Nashville's (AAF Nashville) annual creative competition held February 21 at Limelight Nashville. Buntin led the competition winning 44 Gold and 26 Silver ADDYs, three Best of Show awards, Copywriter of the Year and two Art Director of the Year awards.
